New advance in the automation of ONA wire machines

The advanced CNC forming part of an ONA wire unit means new and advanced possibilities of communication over a distance via ethernet.

CNC enabled with ethernet connection

The RJ45 connector and the ethernet card that is standard with ONA wire units mean a major breakthrough in control and automation, so that they can form part of a Local Area Network (LAN).

The ethernet connection speeds up the transfer of files between machines and programming stations. Unlike a connection in series or parallel, it places no limit on the distance over which machine and PC can be linked.

Off-site transmission of automatic messages

This new communication tool means the user can have a permanent connection channel to the machine. He has remote access, in real time, to messages that the machine transmits in the normal course of work. These messages are sent automatically by the CNC to an e-mail address specified by the user. He is thus able to receive via PC or mobile telephone.

When several machines are connected via ethernet to a simple HUB switch, it is possible via a single PC to communicate with all of them simultaneously.
