ONA
KE 350 and KE 450: the least large in the "KE" series of big
ONA machines
At 22nd BIEMH of Bilbao, ONA shows two new models of the revolutionay
range of machines ONA KE.
Some of the features
of these models
- All the ONA KE
series thanks to its new CNC with Expert Erosion System offer the maximum
productivity, ensuring long machining times without any operator intervention.
- New "Automatic
strategy": a simple, effective tool for programming at the highest
level.
- New, quicker,
friendlier CNC for enhancing human-machine interface
- Fixed bedframe,
so that the machines will accommodate very heavy workpieces, from 3.000
kg (ONA KE 350 unit) up to 10.000 kg (ONA KE 1000 unit).
- Wide taper ungles.
±30º tapered cutting along the entire X-Y traverse to cut
up to a height of 400 mm on the KE 1000 model, 28º/400 mm on the
KE 500.
- Built in is a new
automatic threading system that can handle a large variety of diameters
and wire types (ONA patent).
- Height of 600 mm
in the immersion cutting mode on the KE 1000 model. 400 mm on the KE
500, KE 450 and KE 350 models.
- Filter with zero
maintenance cost (ONA patent).

New ONA CS
and HS series

Proven advances
in performance, precision, and surface quality
On the basis
of the widely known ONA TECHNO models, ONA has produced the new
CS and HS series.
The improved
design where mechanics and electronics are concerned means that
machines in the CS and HS series are notably more efficient, especially
in the case of jobs that involve very difficult flushing. These
improvements have been possible thanks to a new high-speed pulse
technology, which is based on faster head action and servomotor
control. Thanks to the perfect combination of this technology with
the advanced generator of the machine and its Erosion Expert System,
becomes feasible obtaining deeper machining and flushing is no longer
a problem. Also, precision is higher.

New features incorporated to the CNC of the ONA CS and HS series:
- The CNC incorporates
new technology tables specifically for the machining of grooves. Very
deep grooves can be machined (deeper than 100 mm), with the highest
quality and precision guaranteed.
- More homogeneous
finish on large surface areas. The CNC belonging to units in the
CS and HS ranges incorporates new technology tables specifically intended
for an excellent, homogeneous surface finish where the working area
is large.
- New submarine
injection (subgate) function.
