High precision, high load capacity, and up to 30º taper cutting without limits

At the coming IMTS in Chicago, ONA Electroerosión will be exhibiting its latest innovation, the ARION K 500. This is a revolutionary new system with cutting and pitch characteristics which are unique on the EDM market and which have already won the firm prizes in Europe.

The ARION K500 is the first wire EDM unit to allow the operator to cut up to a height of 400 mm, at an inclination of 30º, the whole way along the X-axis or Y-axis. One of the results of this ONA solution is that wire WEDM can be extended to new applications.

Some of the features of this model:

Fixed bedframe, so that the machine will accommodate workpiece up to 5.000 kg (11000 lb).
Height of 400 mm (15,75 in) in the immersion cutting mode.
Large-volume worktank: 1500 x 1200 x 400 mm ( 59,05 x 47,24 x 15,75 in)
New wire-threading system (with ONA patent).
New, quicker, friendlier CNC for enhancing human-machine interface.
Implementation, in standard mode, of a system for feeding the wire prepared for the following spools: DIN 355 (45 kg), DIN 200, DIN 160, DIN 125, DIN 100.

TECHNO H 700

The precise and reliable solution when the challenge is a tough one.

ONA's second new exhibit in Chicago will be the TECHNO H - 700 model. This machine will mark a great step forward in EDM work, as it can handle parts of large volume and weight (up to 10 tonnes).
