At the 22nd edition of the Spanish Biennial Machine Tool Fair, held in Bilbao March 11-16, ONA ELECTROEROSION and KONDIA were jointly awarded the National Prize for Machine Tool Design in the material removal category.
The General Manager of ONA, José María Onandia, personally received the award, which he dedicated to the work of the Company's employees. He described it as "the finest gift we have received this year, on the Company's fiftieth anniversary."
This is the second occasion running on which ONA has won the National Prize for Design. It was the panel's wish to award ONA especially "for adopting an overall design strategy, as well as for conveying a coherent and innovative image via its products and its various communication channels."
